The interview process with Orum was really straightforward. It was a 4-step journey. First, you chat with a recruiter, then you meet the hiring manager, followed by a small panel with some of the SC team, and finally, you do a short demo using a software of your choice. What I really liked about interviewing with Orum was that they genuinely cared about getting to know me as a person and understanding my background. Everyone I spoke with had awesome energy and seemed genuinely excited to be there, which really helped ease any interview nerves. All in all, the process was fast and super clear, which is exactly what you want as a candidate.

I went through two interview rounds, and honestly, neither felt great. One interviewer asked me about my parents' jobs, which I found odd and inappropriate. Both interviewers really pushed me on why I'm not interested in sales, even though the role I applied for isn't sales-related. They repeatedly asked about my dislikes regarding sales. The second interviewer seemed completely disengaged, like he'd rather be anywhere else and didn't care about making a good impression. When I asked about company culture, he just redirected me to the website's values page without further explanation. The whole experience gave me a cold impression of the company, as if they didn't feel the need to impress candidates.

I met with the Director of Sales, VP of Sales, and then the CEO. After that, I interviewed with the Director of Solutions Consultants and then the VP of Customer Success. So that was 4 interviews in total. I had to answer a lot of questions and also do a mock demo of Orum to the CEO, VP Sales, and Director of Sales, using different personas.
