I had a call with HR, then the hiring manager called me. They mentioned I would be invited for an onsite. Then I got an invite for the onsite. A couple weeks later, I received an email saying they hired someone else. The onsite interview was cancelled. This was a shady process.

It was a really laid-back interview! I met with a few different managers, and they were all super nice and fun to talk to. I also got a tour of the place and even got to shadow some people who are already doing the job I applied for.

We started with a phone screen from HR. Then, I had a virtual interview with both the hiring manager and the director. The final stage was an in-person interview where I met with the hiring manager again and one of the current Clinic Managers. During this final meeting, we talked a lot about the specifics of the role, and I got to ask my questions to the people already doing the job.

Behavioral

I met with a supervisor who was above my direct manager, but I never got to meet my direct manager before my first day. My overall supervisor was a micromanager who didn't offer much support when I needed it. They were pretty passive when conflicts came up and didn't help with solutions. The job itself wasn't what was described during the interview.
