Software Engineer
After an initial recruiter call, I interviewed with the hiring manager and a VP, who felt I was a good fit for a higher role. I was then invited for an onsite interview, followed by HR calls for an additional interview. The onsite went well, and I heard back from the initial recruiter. After passing all interviews, I was confused about a final interview, maybe for an offer or to set hiring options. The recruiter's mood changed, and instead of offering the job, she said she couldn't decide yet after so many interviews. She attempted technical questions without knowing the topics, which left me feeling lost. Then they ghosted me, and I had to send multiple emails to find out what happened. It wasn't a good experience after that last call with the initial recruiter. The process for candidate selection and interviews felt confusing.
- Could you tell me about Bone therapy and BLE?
Buyer
I got a call from the recruiter in HR for a phone interview, which I thought went well. It took them two weeks to get back to me after that for an onsite interview. The onsite had 6 employees and the hiring manager. They were nice, but didn't seem very interested in asking questions, so I had to keep the conversation going. My main issue is the lack of feedback from their HR department. I took a day off for a long interview and expected to hear back, but after sending many emails and leaving voicemails, I never got a response. They should at least let candidates know if they're still being considered, especially since people might have other offers. Not replying back felt unprofessional.
- Tell me about your strengths.
- What about your weaknesses?
- How would you deal with various situations?
Human Resources Generalist
The initial phone call with the interviewer was unpleasant; she appeared uninterested and asked broad questions that didn't relate to the role or my background. I never received any follow-up, not even a rejection email. It's disrespectful to not respond to candidates who invested time in preparing, especially coming from an HR professional who should understand the importance of communication.
- What characteristics would your ideal job have?
Territory Manager
First interview was with the area sales manager. Then I had a second interview with the regional manager. The third interview was with the VP of sales. It's a pretty typical medical device sales interview process with a lot of situational/sales scenario questions. They asked about my personality and why I think I'd be a good fit for the role.
- How would you go about presenting product research to a surgeon and their medical staff?
