The hiring process was pretty smooth and moved along fast. First up was a chat with HR, then a technical test to check my basic skills. The main part was the technical interview with the engineering folks, where they really dug into how I'd solve real problems and design systems, not just textbook stuff. To wrap it up, there was a behavioral interview to see if I'd fit in with the team. All in all, it was tough but fair, and I got a good sense of how their tech team works.

The process was clearly structured and everything was explained well. The interviewers were friendly and accommodating to my wishes. Nothing was hidden, and they were clear about what wouldn't work and what wouldn't be tolerated, especially regarding how colleagues and external employees are treated and respected.

I applied on their website and got a call about three days later to set up a phone interview, which happened a week after that. It didn't go well because they needed someone fluent in German, and my German is only intermediate. The hiring manager said we shouldn't continue right then. I'm a bit bummed about it because I was clear about my German level on my resume, and there was no indication I could discuss technical stuff in German.

A week after applying, I was invited for an introductory meeting. I was offered coffee and water. After a brief welcome, my interviewer delved into my resume, asking about my responsibilities in previous roles. Following that, we discussed the job offer and the position itself.
