I had a short interview with just a few questions about my interest in health food and my previous experience. The questions were related to my resume. After that, I got a brief introduction to what happens behind the counter.

It was pretty easy, and they were super flexible with scheduling and communication. It's a plus if you know how to make smoothies or have other food handling experience. Honestly, I'd suggest getting a food handler's card.

Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty long interview for a general team member role that pays $9/hr. They advertise $12.50-$15/hr but that’s including tips. They also advertise a competitive wage, but $9/hr is not competitive. The interview was quite in-depth but the questions were easy. I misunderstood a question and the manager literally laughed at me, which I thought was super unprofessional and made me nervous. I guess we'll see if the tips are really that good, but I do wish they would advertise $9/hr + tips.
