First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Organic.
Account Executive
The interviewers were really enthusiastic, which was nice, but it was tough to get clear feedback on what they were looking for. They asked some general questions about my strengths and weaknesses. They also wanted to gauge my understanding of current pop culture and media trends. Overall, the process felt pretty straightforward.
- How do you think your current coworkers would describe you?
- What are your strengths and weaknesses?
- What do you know about current pop culture?
Operations Manager
It was an in-person interview that lasted for an hour. The questions were concise and to the point. The interaction throughout the interview was friendly and approachable. It left a good impression on me.
- Why are you interested in working for this company?
- What challenges do you foresee in this role?
- Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
Strategist
It was a really drawn-out process. It started with a quick chat with a recruiter or HR person. Then, about a month later, I had a Zoom interview with someone from the team. The person interviewing me seemed like a robot, just reading questions off their screen. I got the impression they weren't really interested in the interview or getting to know me. I think having some connection with your manager is pretty important, especially in my next role, and that felt off. I didn't hear back from HR at all.
- Can you share a success you had in your previous role?
Manager
Got an email from the recruiter the day after I applied online asking for my resume. After I sent it, she set up a phone screen. During the call, she asked about my interest in the company and my reasons for wanting to switch jobs. That same day, she scheduled an in-person interview with the management team. I met with two managers one-on-one. They were really nice. I felt the interview went well, but then I got rejected two days later via email. They said they were rotating someone in internally. It's confusing why they'd interview people if they already planned to move someone internally. It felt like a total waste of my time.
- Could you give me an overview of your resume?
- What motivates your interest in our company or the organic space?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
