First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ordergroove.
Customer Success Manager
I met with the hiring manager first. Then, I had an assignment where I had to present to a panel of CS Leaders. After that, I met with the SVP for the final interview. The recruiting team was respectful of my time, responsive, helpful, and transparent throughout the process. The presentation does take time, but it is par for the course with other companies hiring for CSMs. The company is very unique where they will give you feedback in real time which I appreciated. Overall, it was a great experience.
- Could you describe your Book of Business and the average ARR?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process was a bit rocky. After I applied, they reached out to set up a preliminary call. There was a bit of a wait for them to get back to me about scheduling, and I had to follow up after three days to get the interview confirmed. The first interview got rescheduled a few times without them telling me beforehand, and the new times didn't work for me, so we had to adjust them again. When we finally had the first interview, the interviewer was 10 minutes late and didn't say anything when they joined, which cut into our time. Even with those issues, I got to the second round and had a good talk. But then, no one got back to me afterward. They also made me sign an NDA before the second interview, even though they didn't actually share any secret information.
- What makes you want to join our company?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process took over 6 weeks to get to only the second round due to the recruiter's communication dropping off for almost half that time. It was difficult to work with the recruiter for timely responses and follow-ups were slow or I had to nudge them a couple of times for answers/info. The 2nd interview ran out of time, leaving only 1 question to ask, with others sent via email. I was curious about future company growth opps and was asked to sign an NDA, but never provided anything confidential or an answer to their future plans. Overall, it was a poor interviewing experience.
- Can you describe a difficult customer and how you resolved the situation?
