The interview was relaxed and friendly, making me feel instantly part of the team. It wasn't high-pressure; it felt more like a chat with some questions, overall a very laid-back experience that allowed me to be my best.

Panel of three interviewers. One was fake friendly, another had RBF, and the third was fine. They asked bland questions like "explain a coaching situation" and "how do you feel about being filmed". They seemed disinterested in my answers and didn't ask follow-ups. They offered feedback but never followed up. I wouldn't have taken the job even if offered.

These interviews were likely some of the least professional I've experienced. Both were conducted over Zoom, which is acceptable. However, the interviewer acting as the "leader" was quite unprofessional. She started pouring orange juice from her refrigerator while I was speaking. They didn't ask any questions related to my actual experience or skills, only hypothetical scenarios like, "if this happened, what would you do?". It doesn't strike me as a suitable workplace for a professional aiming to advance their career.

First, there was a 20-minute phone screener with common behavioral questions like 'tell me about yourself,' 'explain any gaps in employment,' and 'why Orbis and why education.' Then, there were three scheduled video conference interviews because the intended candidate didn't show up twice. I logged on with no response on two separate occasions. I had to track down HR to reschedule twice. HR and upper management are definitely spread thin. This seemed to be a theme for Orbis. They sent a personality assessment quiz to take before the next interview. The second interview was a 1-hour video conference call with similar behavioral questions, plus 'why did you leave your previous jobs,' 'what do you want to get out of the position,' and 'where do you see yourself in five years.' The final onsite interview was with 2 people and lasted about 2 hours. The first hour was questions about work culture, what-if scenarios, and asking for examples from past work experience. The second half was a surprise 'activity' which was an Excel proficiency skills assessment and some questions about their CRM Salesforce. This should have been timed and done with the personality test to avoid wasting time. The employee giving it was hovering over my shoulder the entire time, which felt uncomfortable but revealed more about the management style. If you watch a 20-minute intermediate Excel test tutorial on YouTube beforehand, you'll do fine. Thankfully, I was not warned because I was definitely not a fit for this company.
