First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Orange Barrel Media.
Software Developer
The first part was a chill chat with a recruiter. Then I talked with the manager for the software developer role. The last round was a project day at the office. It was a long day.
- Tell me about an application you built that you're proud of and what it did.
Executive Assistant
The interview process moved really fast. I spoke with three different people over about a week and a half, and then I got a job offer just two weeks after that. The questions they asked were really insightful and felt pretty modern. They really wanted to make sure I was a good fit with my experience, the company culture, and my personality. Everyone I talked to was super nice and gave me honest answers when I asked about the job, the company, and their own experiences there.
- What kind of manager or management style do you prefer or dislike?
Photography Manager
The overall experience was good. They were quick and responsive at first, but there was a bigger delay without much follow up towards the end. The interviewer was flexible, kind, and easy to talk with. I didn't consider any major negatives from the interview process.
- Do you think you would be a good fit for this specific role?
