First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Opya.
Clinical Manager
The interview process at Opya was really great, rewarding, and gave me a lot of insight. I got to talk about what I'm interested in at the company, and they clearly explained their unique approaches to making behavioral therapy impactful. I felt valued and welcomed throughout, which made me even more excited about a career with Opya.
- Describe a situation where you experienced supervision that was either too lax or overly strict.
Behavior Technician
I had a phone chat with Valerie for the Sacramento, CA location back in Sept 2021. Valerie was super easy to talk to, and it felt like a real conversation about my career goals and what they were looking for in a team member, rather than feeling like an interrogation.
- Can you tell me about your three biggest strengths?
- What are three areas where you feel you need to improve?
Behavior Technician
I got to do a phone interview where they asked the main things they needed to know and I got to ask my own questions. Then, they set up another video interview to go over the job offer details and any last questions. After both of those, I got the offer letter via email!
- Tell me about your experiences working with children.
- What motivates you to apply for this role?
- Describe your approach to resolving conflicts or disagreements.
Behavior Technician
The first phone call was good, they were nice and on time. They said they'd get back to me about my application status, whether I got an offer or not. But then they totally ghosted me after that call.
- Tell me about your experience in this field.
