First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OPW Fueling Components.
Engineer
The interview process was really straightforward. It started with a 30-minute phone screen, and then I had an on-site interview with HR, my potential peer, the manager, and the director. The whole hiring process moved super fast, and I got an offer within two weeks of my phone screen.
- What is it about manufacturing that you enjoy?
Manager
Went through a bunch of interview rounds with different people, like the hiring manager, people I'd report to indirectly or regionally, and globally. Had a phone interview. Then a face to face. Took a personality test. They did a background check. Discussed salary benchmarking. Then got an offer.
- Could you describe your role?
Software Engineer
It was simple. I didn't get any feedback from the recruiters. They said they would get back to me, and after a second round interview, I heard nothing at all.
- Can you tell me about your weaknesses?
Manufacturing Engineer
It was a very casual and laid-back interview. They asked me about my experience, even though I didn't have any, and then talked to me about my goals. They also asked a few questions related to manufacturing and inquired about any certifications I currently hold or plan to obtain by graduation.
- Can you describe your manufacturing experience?
- What are your goals?
- Do you have any manufacturing certifications, or will you have them by graduation?
