Senior Associate
I got an interview with the manager through a reference for a senior associate position. They were looking for someone experienced for a software role. The process was straightforward. The interview panel included a manager and a subject matter expert. They asked general questions and some technical ones related to the job.
- Could you please introduce yourself?
Associate
They have 3 rounds. First round is an aptitude and coding test with 40 aptitude, logical, and technical questions, plus one coding problem. The second round is a technical interview where they ask about my skills and knowledge, including many hypothetical questions and asking for explanations of my answers. The third round is with HR, where they ask about my family background and test my teamwork capability using several scenarios.
- All questions were related to payments.
Associate
So, the interview process was pretty straightforward. It started with an aptitude test, which honestly wasn't that great, kind of below average. Then, there was a technical round where they asked basic Core Java questions and also checked if I was willing to work late nights and weekends. After that, I had a round with a Senior Manager, also on Core Java, where they seemed to be testing my confidence, even saying my answers were wrong. Finally, there was an HR test, which was more of a general chat with the HR head, and then they extended an offer.
- Basic Core Java questions like, can you tell me what an Interface is?
- What is the difference between an abstract class and an interface?
- What are the pillars of OOPs?
