So the interview process was pretty standard like what you'd see on their website. It started with a recruiter call, then a code assessment, followed by a system design round, then a behavioral interview, and finally another code assessment focusing on data structures. The interviewers were generally nice and easy to collaborate with. The really strange thing was that the role I was interviewing for seemed to change mid-process from what I originally applied for. Even though I felt I did well in all stages, I ended up on the waiting list. The reason given was that the hiring manager had already filled the role and there were no other openings. The recruiter did say they'd reach out if another role came up and I wouldn't have to do the whole interview process again, just chat with the hiring manager. Honestly, it felt pretty unprofessional and I'm not sure what happened – maybe there was a communication breakdown with the hiring manager.

Coding Technical

First met with a recruiting manager who was super nice and communicative, explaining the whole process and what to expect. After that, I had a technical interview with a coding implementation question. It wasn't too hard, but the interviewer was late and not very clear. My code worked but wasn't the best, so I didn't move on.

Went through about 6 or 7 interview steps over 2 months. The career site description was pretty accurate. The recruiter kept me in the loop about what they needed, but the process took longer than expected due to some outages and scheduling issues. I felt good about all the interviews, but unfortunately, I didn't get an offer. The recruiter did mention I was in the top 3 out of over 800 applicants.
