Customer Success Manager
I applied for the Customer Success Manager – Enterprise role and went through two interviews and a final presentation. Everything went pretty smoothly, and I got good vibes from the interviewers, especially after my presentation. But man, the whole thing took about two months, with slow responses between stages. What really threw me off was that the final interview was for a lower-level position (low-touch accounts), not the enterprise one I applied for. I told them I was still interested in the enterprise role. Two weeks later, HR called me for a quick 15-minute chat to explain the new role. I felt good about it and thought we were on the same page. The very next day, I got an email saying I was rejected. It was super confusing – why drag it out, why have the HR call if they'd already decided, and why the inconsistent communication? Honestly, the whole process felt badly managed, unclear, and way too long, leaving me with a bad impression.
- What's your strategy for dealing with a customer who's dissatisfied with the service or product?
Customer Success Manager
The interview process was pretty chill and felt like a conversation. The recruiter made me feel comfortable and didn't pressure me for answers. Even though the recruiter logged in a bit late, the overall experience was positive, and I even got to ask the recruiter questions. But just having a good chat doesn't guarantee a job offer. I was informed they were actually looking for someone with GRC experience, but no questions about GRC experience were asked during the interview.
- How do you define customer obsession?
Customer Success Manager
I interviewed for the CSM role at Auditboard and the experience was amazing. The entire hiring process was super smooth and transparent, making me feel really comfortable. The people I met were great - smart, talented, and also really nice, which made it feel more like a chat than an interview. They seemed really into their work and making an impact. Even though I didn't accept the offer because of salary, I was really impressed with how fast and open the whole process was, from the first call to the final decision. They were professional and efficient all the way. Auditboard clearly cares about hiring the right people. It's a solid company with a promising future. If you're looking for good culture, a smart team, and honesty, I'd definitely recommend checking them out.
- Could you describe your relevant experience?
- Can you give examples of past behaviors?
