First, a recruiter called to chat about my skills and see if I had what they were looking for. Then, there was a technical interview where we talked about my past work, how I tackled problems, and some situation-based questions.

Behavioral Technical

A recruiter reached out about an HR Associate role. After a discussion, an initial interview was scheduled. The first interview went well, and I was promptly invited to a second interview with team members. Following that, I was informed the team would deliberate before a final interview round. However, I haven't heard back from Optos or the recruiter, and my follow-up requests for an update have gone unanswered. It's disappointing to be ghosted, especially since the job is still advertised and I enjoyed the interview stages. Receiving feedback, even if not selected, would have been appreciated.

Behavioral Other

It was a 4 round interview process. They weren't really focused on skills or qualifications, but more on if I was coachable. They asked things like if I would go straight to HR or try to sort things out with the person first, which seemed like a bit of a red flag.

  • Describe a situation where you had to decide between approaching HR directly or attempting to resolve an issue with the individual involved first.
