Intern
So first there was this really long online assessment (OA). After that, I had a short behavioral interview. Then, a cognitive test that looked at betting sizes, arbitrage, and how to exploit bad bets. The later stages involved more general quantitative trading questions, specifically about EV.
- Standard quantitative trading questions
- Programming questions for quantitative researchers
- Questions about betting sizes
Intern
I applied for the internship and had to do an online assessment first, and then an hr interview. Unfortunately, I didn't get past the online assessment. The assessment had basic sequence and probability questions, and also some reaction time games. Practicing on a quant trading math website was really similar to the actual interview questions.
- Basic sequence questions
- Basic probability questions
- Reaction time games
Intern
The online assessment (OA) was tough, but I progressed to the first technical interview. This interview involved making strategic bets on various games to maximize potential earnings. I felt it was going well until the final move, where time pressure led me to make a poor bet that ultimately cost me the opportunity. I did not advance to the next stage.
- How would you approach the Bet on Coins game?
- What are your strategies for card games to make the most money?
