I first had a screen call with the recruiter. Then I had a zoom video call with the therapy manager. After that, I got an offer letter and had a phone call with HR to negotiate the offer.

Optimal asked for all the basic requirements for the position I applied for. I met with HR and DON, and they were pleasant. Part time employees were 1099 by the company, and I provided all my own equipment. We were asked to purchase an I-pad and we could put it on payment through the company but they charged more than buying it at Best Buy.

I had a really chill interview with the owners, Chad and Edwyn. We talked for about an hour about the company and my background, and how I'd fit in. It felt super laid back, not like those typical interviews where they ask you the same old questions. They were really straightforward about who they are and what they're looking for.
