Product Manager
Got contacted by the internal recruiter who found me. They were looking for a specific background that I had, but they weren't necessarily looking for someone remote. It started with a couple of calls with the internal recruiter, who then passed my info to the hiring managers. The call was good, great conversation! I was told I'd hear about next steps regardless of the news. I've sent several emails and left messages, and it's been a month with no word. Maybe they do better with local candidates?

Mid-level Position
The interview followed a structure similar to the "WHO" method. You should be ready to discuss your resume, providing examples of the highlights and lowlights of each past role. Also, prepare for the questions below. Don't bother with the "WHO" book, it's not worth it. But do take the time to really think about these questions and plan out what you'll say.
- Could you tell me about your goals?
- What do you consider your strengths?
- What are areas where you could improve?
EHR Applications Specialist
I had a phone interview with the hiring manager and someone from the EHR support team. It was set for a week out. The hiring manager was on time, but the support manager left after 15 minutes for another meeting. The hiring manager didn't seem super ready. My resume showed I did both implementation and post-implementation support for EHRs, but he kept asking about implementation. The recruiter told me afterward that the hiring manager thought I didn't have enough post-implementation experience. I think the next step is an in-person interview.
- Can you tell me about your experience implementing NextGen software?
- Describe a time you dealt with a challenging situation.
IT Help Desk Technician
I talked to the recruiter first, then the I.T. Manager, then the Director, and then two Managers in other states. It was a pretty thorough process. An old manager thought their hiring methods were good. You didn't feel weird at any point.
- Describe a situation where you dealt with an angry customer and how you resolved it.
- Can you share your weaknesses?
