First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OpSec Security Group.
Senior Software Engineer
First they review your resume for skills and experience. Then there are two technical interviews to check your expertise. Finally, an HR round to see if you're a good cultural fit, communicate well, and are suitable for the role.
- Can you tell me about your experience with Java?
- What is your experience with Spring Boot?
- What are the design patterns for microservices?
Senior Java Developer
HR called me to talk about some basic stuff and set up the interview dates. Then I had my first technical round with a Director in early Feb 2025. It had one easy DSA question and a basic scaling question. A week later, I had my 2nd technical round with a Team Lead and a Developer. The next week was the 3rd interview round with the Hiring Manager. After that, no word.
- Could you explain vertical and horizontal scaling?
- For a given sorted array and a number x, can you find the pair in the array whose sum is closest to x?
- Using the Stream API, how would you find the count of employees within the same department?
HR Officer
got contacted on whatsapp to schedule a 1st stage interview. Waited over 3 weeks for a second stage interview. After I emailed them to ask them about it, they finally told me there will be a third-stage interview within the next week.
- How would you organize your workload?
Senior Development Technician
The interview process was pretty straightforward and unstructured, not very formal. They asked a few generic competency questions, but mostly focused on what was on my CV. Communication between the hiring manager and talent acquisition after the interview wasn't great.
- Questions focused on CV content.
- Scrutiny over CV details.
- Detailed questions about specific experiences listed on the CV.
