Housing Assistance Specialist
You'll have a virtual panel interview with maybe 2 or 3 assistant managers. The questions won't be about the job itself, but all behavioral. HR will follow up about 3 weeks later. The next step is a 3-page document that includes some math and case scenarios.
- Can you share an experience where...
Administrative Coordinator
i was interviewed over Google Meets. I was interviewed by three department heads and a representative from the HR department. they asked different questions about my education, background, and if I ever had experience with budgeting and purchasing. And how I would handle certain situations within the company.
- Why are you looking to leave your current position?
- Could you list your degrees?
- Have you purchased supplies before?
Manager
I was contacted about two to three months after applying. The first interview was a panel interview with about 3-4 employees from different departments who volunteered, plus an HR person. They asked standard questions about values and took notes the whole time. Before the second interview, I was sent a written part with around 3 questions about competency based on scenarios. The second interview was with people I would work with directly and for. They asked me questions about my judgment and opinions.
- What would you do if a news station showed up wanting to ask you about the San Antonio Housing Authority?
Accountant
It was a 3 person panel interview where each person asked questions from a list. At the end of the interview, you're asked to do a quiz on basic accounting questions. The second interview is with the head of the accounting department. The hiring process overall was lengthy; I didn't get an offer until like 2 months later, which worked for me since I was still in school and wanted to finish the semester without a full-time job.
- What actions would you take if you realized a deadline would not be met?
