The interview process involved a recruiter screen, a small coding exercise followed by a hiring manager chat, a LeetCode-style exercise with an engineer, a system design interview with another engineer, and a behavioral interview with product/design. There was supposed to be a vibe check with the CTO, but it was canceled two hours before the interview. The company rescinded the offer with no apology, which reflects poorly on their operations and how they treat candidates.

Got the interview request about a week after applying. The first email had a link to schedule on the recruiter's calendar. Had the initial screening with the recruiter, who was a bit late, but professional, though not super friendly. She asked what I knew about the company and then told me about the company and role. Asked several questions about my experience, all typical behavior-based questions. Not very engaging, but she explained the process and next steps well. Got rejected within 3 days. Seems like a good company based on my experience.

First, we did introductions. Then, they tested my typing speed. After that, I was asked an easy reasoning question about number series. Then, there was a situation-based question focusing on time management. Finally, they asked about my long-term goals.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

So, a recruiter from the company reached out to me first. At first, it seemed like a pretty standard interview process, and everyone I met was really nice. It's a great mission-driven company. But, it ended up not being a good experience. The first 3 interviews had great communication and scheduling. Then it got messy. The fourth interviewer forgot about our meeting, which was okay, but I had to chase them to reschedule. After that fourth interview, I was told there would be a final interview where I'd present a design exercise, but then they just ghosted me. I never heard back, and they didn't reply to any of my emails after that.
