After moving forward in the interview process, I had an interview with a leadership team member. Following that, I was ghosted. There was no follow-up or rejection email, just silence. It's 2025, and ignoring candidates, especially after they've met with senior leadership, is unacceptable. It makes Operation Homefront look unprofessional. They also asked for writing samples and never acknowledged them. Again, total ghosting, no rejection email even after two months since submitting the samples. This raises concerns about how the organization operates, and applicants should be cautious. I didn't feel respected.

The hiring process felt lengthy, with each interview lasting over an hour. I'd suggest a panel interview might speed things up. They also need to make sure to let candidates know if they're advancing.

I applied and got called for an in-person interview pretty quickly. They mentioned there were other candidates and that I'd hear back soon about a second interview if I made the cut. After the second interview, they offered me the job right away.
