First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OpenWorks.
Account Executive
They asked a series of questions to check for cultural fit. They also asked more about my background and past sales experience including relevant experience to the job. After this, they opened the room for my questions and were engaging and kind.
- Can you share an instance where you made an error at work and describe how you managed it?
Sales Manager
I had a long process, meeting with lots of different managers and executives, as well as HR people. The recruiter was really involved. A lot of the meetings were virtual. They could have gone over the weekly expectations more clearly.
- What prompted your departure from your previous position?
Human Resources Coordinator
I had a video conference call with the hiring manager, and then a second round of video conference calls with a couple of potential team members the following week. This happened during the pandemic. It was a good experience during the interviews because everyone seemed nice and genuine. What made this a poor candidate experience is that after 3 Zoom interviews, they told me they would make a decision by end of the week. I never heard back either way after 3 conference calls, which I think is so inconsiderate.
- Ironically, how would you ensure a positive candidate experience?
- What do you think contributes to a positive work culture?
- How do you feel about leading employment engagement activities?
Regional Director
It was quite extensive. First, I had a screen with the recruiter, then an interview with them. After that, I had two interviews with two DVPs, followed by an interview with the EVP, and finally, an interview with the owner. There were also two extra assessments. Even though it was a lot, it felt welcoming, and everyone was really nice.
- What were your past accomplishments?
- Tell us about your personality.
- Be 100% honest on the assessments, otherwise it will show.
