Software Engineering Manager
It seems like they have an automated recruiting process. I got an email asking me to pick a time for a recruiter chat, but the earliest slot was two weeks away. The day before our scheduled meeting, I got a confirmation email. On the day itself, the Meeting ID for the OpenLoop Zoom call didn't work. I tried reaching out to the recruiter, even trying to set up my own meeting, but no luck. About two hours later, I received an email from the recruiter saying they'd updated the position and hired someone else for the new role. Hope they sort out this glitch so it doesn't mess with other candidates.

I got an email to set up an interview. I chose the earliest slot possible to get an interview. I waited by the phone for their call. The call never came, and I got a message later saying they were in a meeting. I asked if they could send a link so I could pick a new time. They said they'd send one, but over a day passed with no link. Then I got an email saying they'd already filled the job. If they're this bad at communicating just to set up a chat, I'd be worried about how they communicate internally.
- When can we schedule a call to go over this position?
PMHNP-BC
It was a quick and straightforward first interview. They mentioned they don't pay for additional licenses and that the role is for a 1099 employee. They also said there will be cross-training. The discussion touched on experience with GLP, HRT, pediatric obesity med management, TRT, minimal prompt care, and chronic or psych conditions.
- What is the number of hours you are willing to work?
Senior Technical Recruiter
The interview process involved 4 rounds with the recruiter, the Sr Director of HR, the VP of Talent, and a director based in Peru, as the position required Spanish fluency. Being a startup, they were in the process of adopting a new ATS, which led to a somewhat disorganized and chaotic operational environment. Despite their emphasis on speed and efficiency, these qualities were not evident in their process. Ultimately, after the 4 interviews, I received a generic rejection email with no specific feedback.
- Given the startup's goal to establish a presence in Peru, what insights can you share about the regional economic landscape?
- How does your experience align with the needs of launching a hub in Peru?
- Can you elaborate on your experience with recruiting for bilingual roles?
