My interview experience with OpenGov was one of the best I've had. It was, thorough, engaging, collaborative encouraging, supportive, intense, a 7 step interview process and consultative. With each step of the interview the terms used were on full display from an OpenGov side.

It was a long but really thorough interview process. I ended up having 8 different interviews, starting with the talent team, then moving on to meet the potential manager and sales lead. The very last step was a presentation I had to give to a group of 5 people.

I applied online and heard back from a recruiter within a few days. The initial recruiter interview went great and I thought I was moving on. The next step was an interview with the regional director. It felt like that call was not going to go well from the start. During our chat, the RD suggested I look into other companies because of my background. The RD was really unprofessional and seemed to just be going through the motions. I quickly realized I wouldn't want to work there based on that RD interview.
