It was a good interview process overall. Everyone was nice and they didn't waste my time. I had an initial chat with HR and then spoke with the person who would be my manager. The HR chat was about 30 minutes, and the chat with the hiring manager was about an hour.

A recruiter hit me up on LinkedIn. Then, ODE sent me an online critical thinking/personality test, took about 45 mins. After that, the internal recruiter chatted with me about culture and what they expect, then sent me another assessment. This call was around 30 mins. Following that, I had a video interview with a director and a software architect. We talked about how the company runs, my past work and projects, and they threw in a couple of SQL and systems architecture questions to see where I'm at. The whole thing was pretty fast, like 2 weeks, even with the year-end holidays. Everyone was nice and smart. The offer was market rate, but I ended up taking a different job that was a better fit.

I was contacted pretty fast by HR and was told I'd have to do a test that would take 2-3 hours. A few days later, the test came from the parent company, and it did take a long time to finish, with many parts. It felt like something a junior high guidance counselor would create, with behavioral questions, pattern recognition, puzzles, and math word problems. They warned that finishing on time would be hard, which turned out to be true. It didn't feel like a good test for the job, and honestly, it was insulting for any professional.

Applied online and received an email the following day to complete two pre-employment assessments, an aptitude and a personality test, each taking about 15 minutes. The aptitude test was too short. Neither test related to the job, making them a waste of time. Received a rejection email a week later without ever speaking to a recruiter, which aligns with other reviews mentioning the company's perceived overconfidence.
