Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Open Access Technology International.
Business Analyst
The interview started with a first round with the team and HR, where they asked some soft skills and technical questions like 'what happens when you click a button'. The next stage was a take-home test, which was a real-life scenario task meant to be completed in 1 hour. The task involved expanding an existing exam taking website to a new region and adding new functionality. Specifically, it required writing questions for a stakeholders workshop and then writing Epics and User Stories. The description mentioned that the task was too heavy and diverse for the given time, and not very realistic.
- Can you explain what happens when a button is clicked?
- What questions would you ask stakeholders for a workshop?
- Can you write Epics and detailed User Stories for this project?
Business Analyst
Round 1 was a telephonic call for basic introductions and to discuss work experience. Round 2 was a technical round where they asked about previous experience, basic BA questions, and SDLC. Round 3 was the HR round, which was a final discussion about salary and the bond.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Describe your previous work experience.
- What are some basic BA questions?
Business Analyst
The interview experience was quite positive. Initially, there was a written assessment that included both aptitude and technical questions. Candidates who passed this stage then proceeded to a technical interview and an HR interview.
- Could you solve 3 puzzles?
- Walk me through your CV.
- Explain in-depth technical questions from your favorite subject.
