Recruiter
The interview process felt rushed, with a lot of promises that weren't kept. They acted like their recruiter department was organized, which was pretty funny. I interviewed ages ago and still haven't heard back from anyone, good or bad. My application status hasn't even been updated. The new Director has a reputation that precedes her.
- Can you share an example of a difficult recruitment scenario you've managed?
- What's your background in finding candidates?
- How do you juggle many open jobs at once?
Customer Service Representative
This interview was a live, interactive session with current staff members, offering a transparent look into the daily workflow. They were patient and answered all questions directly and professionally. I was encouraged to ask questions and we discussed scheduling preferences.
- Could you tell me about your greatest weakness?
- What makes you want to work for Opcity?
- Do you work well in a team environment?
Client Service Representative
I arrived at the office and the recruiter welcomed me into her office. After filling out an application, we immediately began with the questions. She was very direct and seemed to be short on time, as two other people came in to speak with her during our conversation. About halfway through, I went to shadow a current representative to observe the daily tasks. This was really beneficial and gave me a realistic look at the job. When I returned, we finished up the remaining questions, and she then discussed the pay. Following the pay discussion, I was presented with three different work schedule options to choose from. While I had reservations about not having weekends off, I was still quite enthusiastic about the potential earnings. She concluded by giving me a tour of the office before I departed. Later that evening, I received the offer letter via email.
- What is your least favorite aspect of your present job?
- Can you manage reading from a script for your entire workday?
- Would you be open to making 150 calls each day?
Inside Sales
The interview process involved a phone screen with the recruiter, followed by two onsite interviews. One onsite was a one-on-one with the Department Manager, and the other was with a supervisor. The last interview also included shadowing someone for a few hours. The process was very straightforward.
- Can you share your experience?
