The interview process was pretty straightforward and moved really quickly. I started with a 15-minute call with the recruiter to see if I was a good fit. Then, I met with the Director and the team lead. They asked some really good questions and were great at answering mine. Honestly, it was one of the smoothest and fastest interview processes I've been through.

I went through an interview process for a VP of Product Management role, talking to both the recruiter for a screening and the CTO/Cofounder. It was a quick process. I had my resume submitted quickly through my network. I spoke with the recruiter within a few days and then had a call with the CTO in India within 2 weeks. The recruiter interaction was good, and I stayed in touch with them about other roles. The CTO conversation was also good, but I had a feeling my ideas might not fully align with his vision for the company, though I'm not completely sure.

I applied to Hot Mess Company and a few weeks later I had a video interview scheduled with the hiring manager. On the day of the interview, I got an email saying the hiring manager was busy and I would be interviewed by a team member over the phone instead. Even though I was annoyed, I did the interview and it went well. Two days later, I was told the position was filled. It seems like they had an offer going out and didn't want to waste the hiring manager's time on more interviews. Instead of being upfront, they wasted my time. If TA and HR can't get it right, I can't imagine how bad the rest of the company is.

Presentation Case Behavioral

The interview process wasn't overly difficult, but it was more in-depth than some other places I applied. I had to do a project beforehand, which involved researching an account and then presenting it to a group of SDR leaders and directors. After that, there was a phone interview, an interview with the manager, an interview with the VP of people, and then a final round with the SDR leaders and directors where I presented my project and did a live role-play.
