First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ontellus.
Sales Manager
The recruiting team had two calls, followed by one HR call over the phone. Then there were three zoom calls with different managers. They asked basic questions each time and it felt like some interviews could have been combined. They said I'd hear back by next week, but three weeks later, they ghosted any calls or emails I sent.
- How does your experience relate to this position?
OPEN POSITIONS
I went to one of the offices and interviewed with the head of HR. First they make you take a typing test twice and a letter. The letter is about how you in your own words explain to why their order won't be delivered on time. After that I interviewed with HR rep who then sent me to another location that same day for another interview at another office. That interview was much tougher since the questions asked were more behavioral.
- Can you share an instance where you demonstrated leadership?
Data Entry Clerk
It was a quick but thorough interview. They asked questions about handling large amounts of data and being detail-oriented. The interviewers were really nice and pleasant, and they didn't waste my time because they knew exactly what they needed and told me right away when they decided to hire me.
- What volume are you accustomed to working with?
Customer Service Representative
I talked to the head of HR in person first, then the head of Customer Service called me on the phone. They asked basic questions about my experience and some about how I'd deal with specific situations.
- What is your approach to managing challenging interactions with customers?
