First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ontada.
Project Manager
The interview process had 3 rounds. The hiring manager asked focused questions about my experience with problem-solving, stakeholder management, and meeting business expectations. It was a good two-way discussion overall.
- What would be your top three priorities when managing business users?
Program Manager
The interview process was straightforward, with questions directly related to the day-to-day duties of a Program Manager. Initially, the interviewers seemed a bit reserved, but they became more approachable as the conversation progressed. Despite the initial impression, it was a generally positive experience, and the questions asked were relevant to behavioral aspects of the role.
- What's your approach to handling challenging customer interactions?
UX Designer
I had a quick chat with the hiring manager, it was less than 30 minutes. They seemed really pressed for time and I didn't get the impression they were genuinely interested in the discussion. My sense was that they were swamped, even though they've apparently been trying to fill this role for a while. That didn't strike me as a good sign.
- How do you handle it when you have a lot of deadlines at the same time?
Business Development Director
Straight forward process with a smart, friendly, and informative team except for HR. HR didn't provide specific feedback on why I wasn't offered the position, which I felt was unprofessional and discourteous. This is key info candidates could use for improvement and would have shown they valued my time and effort.
