First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OnSolve.
Accounting Manager
It was an easy process. The HR team was nice, and so was the group of people I met. They were upfront about the company's current situation and overall business needs. Even though it's a remote role, the teams are mostly on the east coast. The process involved talking to HR and then a screening with the controller.
- How do you feel about collaborating with a team in a remote setting?
Product Manager
The recruiter didn't seem to know much about the product or the role itself. After a brief chat, they texted to arrange the next steps. I then spoke with the 'director of product management,' which was an okay conversation, but I got the impression they just execute on instructions without much deep product discovery. When I suggested building prototypes before coding, they mentioned the cost, which I found a bit concerning given the greater expense of building unwanted products. The overall experience felt negative due to the lack of follow-up until I pushed for it.
- Can you describe a product you were involved with?
Technical Support Specialist
This was a great hiring process, super quick and communicative. The interviews were ready, on time, and friendly. The recruiter kept me in the loop the whole time and made sure I was set up to do well. No waiting around or stressing about emails. So, here's how it went: Recruiter call on Thursday before a holiday. Then, an interview with Leadership on Tuesday, followed by an interview with Senior Leadership on Wednesday. The recruiter kicked things off with a quick rundown of the job. We talked about my experience with their CRM, my background in general, if my schedule matched theirs, and what to expect next. We also briefly touched on salary to ensure we were on the same page. The recruiter set up the first interview right then. I chatted with two support leaders about the job details, like metrics, how busy it gets, the product, and so on. The last interview covered my background, technical requirements, what I'd aim for in the role, the product, and the company. That final chat also cleared up any confusion I had about the position.
- Can you tell me what you know about OnSolve?

- Could you describe your background and how it connects to this role?
Customer Success Representative
I was contacted by a recruiter for an initial phone interview. During the interview, I described my previous role going into detail about how the SaaS I supported worked and my responsibilities. I have "SaaS" on my resume with details of my responsibilities. Toward the end of the 30-minute interview, I reiterated that I find working for a SaaS the most rewarding and that's where I have done my best work. That's when she said "You have SaaS experience?" Thank goodness it was not a video interview, otherwise my astonishment would have been all over my face. I did get a second, video, interview but there was absolutely no follow up. Not even an automated rejection.
