Equipment Maintenance Technician
It was an 8-hour interview process. I met with several managers, directors, and technicians. There was a written technical aptitude test and I also had to give a project presentation to the whole group. Everyone was super warm and welcoming, it really made me want to work there. (Though it didn't feel like an accurate reflection of the actual work environment.)
- Can you tell us why we should hire you?
- What are your interests?
- How do you think you are qualified for this position?
Maintenance Technician
First I had a phone screen with HR. Then the hiring manager called to talk about my experience and resume. If they liked that, I had a 4 hour panel interview with HR, engineers, and other technicians. They asked behavioral and technical questions.
- Can you explain the working principle of a motor?
Equipment Technician
The hiring process was pretty unorganized because this was the first full-time position posted since this site was acquired. There are no recruiters on site, so this was handled by the HR representative on site and recruiters in Phoenix. The interview was an onsite round-robin style interview from a panel of 5 individuals. It was evident that the interviewers were very knowledgeable of the processes and tools by the way the questions were formed. All of the interviewers had a professional attitude.
- Can you share an instance of a problem you faced in a previous job or outside of work and describe the actions you took to resolve it?
