So I got through the first call with HR, and they said the next step is a technical interview with someone on the team. It's a chance for me to really talk about the role and show what I know technically. I'm excited to chat and prove I can use my skills practically. They seem to have a good process for making sure it's a fit. I'm looking forward to the next interview to see how I can help the team.

It was a standard interview, and they asked basic questions about my school work. The interviewers were a bit unprofessional, joking about workplace diversity. I think they might not have interviewed many people before because the questions were very basic and not directly related to the role. I tried to get more details from them, but they were evasive. After the interview, they took more than a week to get back to me. The HR representative finally responded about a week later with a brief explanation for why I didn't get the internship.

So the whole thing took about an hour and was broken down into three parts. First, there was this handwritten technical test. After that, I had a chat with a staff engineer. The last bit was talking with the manager. It was pretty chill overall, but they really stuck to technical electronics questions. Not much focus on personality or anything like that.
