Marketing Coordinator
I talked to a recruiter, it was a quick interview and a lot of back and forth waiting for an update. Didn't get the job, but it seemed like they were in transition and not really looking to fill the role right away.
- What is your reason for leaving your current job?
Sales Assistant
I got the job offer really fast, like 15 minutes after my only interview (which felt like a red flag). The owners were vaping the whole time with their feet up on the desk. They seemed super desperate to hire anyone.
- What's your experience with managing samples?
- Have you managed an account previously?
Graphic Designer
Applied for the job and got an email to come in for an interview about three days later. The interview was honestly the worst I've ever experienced. The CEO was super rude and off-putting, and didn't at all try to convince me to join the company. It's really confusing why anyone chooses to work there. I sent an email right after the interview to let them know I was no longer interested. It would be great if you could be more considerate to candidates, because you do want them to work for you, right?
- What's the financial situation of your current employer?
- Could you present your design work?
Print Designer
The interview process was very disorganized. The office was one big open room, and the owner was on his phone yelling about changing a flight, which made for a really awkward start. They said they loved my portfolio and asked about my salary expectations. Later, after I got home, they emailed again, saying they liked my work but proposed a much lower salary range, which felt insulting.
- What is your desired salary range?
