We start by screening candidates online. If they pass that, we'll give them a call to set up the first interview. The first interview is with the HR department, and it's a panel interview that lasts for 1 hour. This is separate from a general knowledge/skills and personality assessment test. After that, there's a second interview with the managing director, which is also 1 hour.

The whole thing took about a month, and it started with a regular online application. Then there were phone interviews, and finally a 'super day'. I saw the analyst area and several people who looked really unhappy looked up then went back to their work. The office felt very plain and uninspired. Onex is known to be a really demanding place to work, and in the end, it just wasn't for me.
