Technical Support Representative
I started by applying online with basic info, some skill questions, and a typing test. If I passed the initial screening, I got a call a few days later for a quick phone chat. After that, they sent me a link to a 45-minute timed test focused on networking and troubleshooting skills (might need to review Windows XP and Outlook). If I did well enough on the test, the same person who called me would contact me back to schedule the interview. I arrived about 10 minutes early for the interview. The receptionist let me wait in the main area until my interviewer showed up. Then, I was taken to the call center area with cubicles and asked a series of questions in a one-on-one interview that covered both my skills and personality.
- Tell me about a hero and the reason behind your choice.
Technical Support Representative
I applied online and a day or two later got an email. Then I took an easy test, where I was encouraged to Google the answers. I passed and set up a phone interview. It had pretty basic questions, I didn't realize it was an interview until a few minutes in, but it was pretty painless. Then I had a Skype interview, I was nervous but the interviewer was awesome and made me feel comfortable. More basic questions, and he verified my computer and Windows setup. I felt good about it. He said I'd hear back as early as 24 hours or as late as Friday at 5 p.m. Friday came and went, so I thought I didn't get the job. About 2 days later I got a call saying I was still being considered. Then 9 days went by and I got another call saying I had been accepted. Training starts January 4th.

Technical Support Representative
I applied online and about a week later, I got a call from a recruiter. We talked about my resume and they asked some basic interview questions, like 'What skills do you have that will benefit the position you are applying for?'. That call was around 20 minutes. After that, I had to do a background check and take a pre-employment test where I needed to score at least 70%. Once they got my scores back, I had a video interview over Google Hangouts that lasted about 20 minutes. Now I'm just waiting to hear back about an offer. The recruiter mentioned she was submitting my application for two different positions, and the whole process could take up to 5 business days.
- Describe a situation where you had to retain a customer who was considering leaving due to incorrect information from a previous agent.
