Customer Service Representative
I filled out an application online that had 3 basic technical questions. About a week later, I got a call for my first interview, which was mostly general questions like 'what relevant skills do you have', 'describe previous jobs', and they also asked about my computer specs. Then, I got an email with a 30 question test to do in 20 minutes. The interviewer mentioned it was entry level and that it was okay to research answers online. I finished the test and got a call an hour later to set up a Skype interview. It was about 10 minutes long and they said I'd hear back. I was contacted that same day for background check info. I got the job offer a week after that.
- Tell me about your best and worst qualities.
- Who is your hero and why?
- Why do you think you're the right fit for this job?
Call Center Representative
The interview process involved meeting with great people who were very professional and had remarkable voices. The first week of training was also amazing, even though many of us felt anxious, which is normal when starting a new job. I quickly got the hang of the tools with practice. I mostly enjoyed interacting with the callers, learning to handle the occasional difficult ones with humility. I liked most of my superiors. It was hard to leave the job because of the good people and because I loved the work. There were some bad people, but most of the people I met were exceptional. The chat group also helped make tough days fun. Overall, it was a great experience.
- Were you planning on staying with the company for a long time?
Customer Service Representative
So you first gotta do this online application, it's like 50 questions about the internet and all that. If you get over a 70, they'll call you. The call is to set up your in-person interview and they'll hit you with a few quick questions at the end, which are kinda detailed, so maybe review internet stuff beforehand. Then you go in for the in-person interview, and right away you do a timed typing test. Pass that and you'll have a basic interview, like 'tell me about yourself' and 'what does success mean to you'.
- Are you okay with talking to people on the phone for extended periods?
- Can you explain what success looks like to you?
