First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oneself Marketing.
Account Manager
The hiring process moved quickly. I first had a brief 15-minute interview with the CEO, which was pleasant but very short. The next day, I was invited back for a more extended interview. I met with a current account manager, and we went to a coffee shop about a 5-minute drive away, located inside a grocery store. After returning, I completed a questionnaire. It asked for my feedback on the interviewer and my impressions of her, along with questions about the company information shared by the Account Manager and the distinctions between direct and indirect marketing strategies. I declined the offer because it was a commission-based role with a weekly stipend, and I was seeking a salaried position. They mentioned a drug test would be required if I accepted the job.
- If you could spend a day with any historical figure, who would it be and why?
Intern
I did the first interview at school and the second and third at Tigard. For the one at Tigard, they would take you to an coffee shop to interview you, which takes some time. After you go back to the company, you'll fill out a short questionnaire. And then a really short interview that is only for like 3 minutes.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
Account Executive
I got an email and a phone call because my resume looked like a good fit for what they needed. I have experience in customer service and management. I went in for the first interview and met with the CEO, and she told me about the job and what the company was looking for. Then, for the second part, I met with an Account Manager who went over the training and the job details more. They're looking for people who want to grow, start their careers, or get more experience.
- Where would you go if you could travel anywhere in the world right now, with no budget constraints, and what's your reason for choosing that destination?
Marketing Account Executive
It was a really personable, fun, and communicative interview process. It was comprehensive, with three steps, and happened pretty fast. I got to chat with folks from different management levels so I could see the range of experience across the company.
- If you could talk to one dead famous person, who would it be?
