First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OneScreen.
Web and App Developer
After your resume gets shortlisted, there are about 3 levels of interviews. Level 1 is a technical interview with 2 people, usually a product manager and a senior software engineer. They ask theoretical and scenario-based questions. For example, they might ask about RAG, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines. They also give a scenario question, like asking which technique is better to make a model efficient in a given situation: RAG, prompt engineering, or fine-tuning. The 2nd level is a Team Lead Interview. This interview is less technical and is a mix of scenario-based questions and general conversation. The 3rd level is an HR interview.
- Could you explain what RAG is in the context of AI?
- Can you elaborate on your knowledge of Docker?
- What is your understanding of CI/CD pipelines?
Software Engineer
There was a quick basic technical test first, then a technical interview with the lead software engineer. They asked general full stack questions and two technical questions focused on logic building.
- Can you explain the difference between vowels and consonants?
General Manager
I had a great interview process here. I went in for the interview and they offered me the job in less than 2 days. I waited a few days to reply but then I accepted.
- What's your preferred browser?
Software Engineer
I was 20 mins late for my interview, but since this company is a startup, they understood the college life.
- At the end, they asked me an open-ended question.
