Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OnePay.
Product Manager
You'll talk to the hiring manager first, then have two product interviews, and finally a cross-functional interview with people from marketing, engineering, and other departments. It's a pretty standard process to see your product experience and how you handle things behaviorally.
- Tell me about your previous work and what you've accomplished.
- What projects have you been involved in?
- What difficulties did you face in your past roles?
Product Manager
It was pretty straightforward - first a recruiter chat, then a hiring manager chat, followed by talking with some cross-functional partners, then a skip level meeting, and finally an interview with the CEO. There was a bit of a wait between each stage to hear back, likely because they were interviewing multiple people.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Product Manager
Had a phone screen with an internal talent manager. It was pretty straightforward, mostly about my interests/goals rather than them trying to sell the company. It was refreshing and a good use of the 30 minutes.
- What are your career aspirations for your next position?
