First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Onelife Fitness.
Instructor
I gave an in-person class for the manager. It was very fair, low stress, and the manager was a cool person. The environment was wonderful. I highly recommend this place for an instructor because the management is reasonable and fair, and the clients are regulars who are committed.

Playroom Attendant
I initially applied in person by picking up, filling out, and submitting an application, also attaching my resume. After a considerable wait of about 3 months with no response, I reapplied online. About a week later, the supervisor contacted me for an interview, which was surprising given the delay but very welcome. During the interview, I waited a few minutes for the supervisor, who then introduced herself and led me to the manager's office. They attempted to access my online application but encountered technical difficulties. I reminded them about the physical application I submitted months prior. They located it, and the supervisor noted she would have contacted me earlier had she seen it. The interview consisted of direct questions, such as my experience with children and self-description. They then explained the job duties and rules. After I asked my questions, they offered me the position on the spot and provided new hire paperwork for my training day.

Membership Director
For the Membership Consultant role, if you can breathe, do basic math, and talk to people (and don't have a criminal record, though that's sometimes negotiable), you're probably in. They desperately need people because the sales structure is a mess, leading to over 80% turnover. They'll hire you even if you're overweight or drink a lot, as long as they think you can sell healthy living. For the Membership Director role, some prior management experience is usually expected.

Front Desk Associate
I submitted my application online through the S&H career portal. The front desk supervisor then reached out via email, specifying the exact days and times she needed to fill the role, along with the compensation details. She mentioned that if it seemed like a good match, she'd set up an interview. I went ahead and scheduled one, and ultimately, I met with the General Manager.
