We start with a phone chat with HR, then you come in for an in-person meeting with the department team. After that, there's a short virtual chat with the VP or other leaders. If we decide to move forward with an offer, we'll then request a background and drug screen. Your start date will be arranged based on when you're available and our onboarding schedule.

The Donor Information Manager called me saying she saw my resume online and asked if I was interested in the org and the Donor Information Coordinator position. I got scheduled for an interview the next day. I interviewed with the Donor Information Manager and another manager from a different department. After the interview, they asked me to meet with the COO and another director who were in a different office. She asked me to call her after my meeting with the COO, and then she offered me the job right away.

The application process, initial screening, and in person interviews all went well. The managers seemed to really like me and kept talking about how the role was growing and the amount of work was increasing. But when the offer came, it just wasn't enough money for all the work they wanted me to do. HR wouldn't budge on the salary at all. It's a shame because they're missing out on a good candidate. If they looked at what their executives make, they'd see they need to offer a competitive salary for the work they expect.

I applied online and a few days later got a call to schedule an interview at their downtown LA office. I met with a manager for about 45 minutes, and it was pretty chill. They seemed really engaged with what I was saying. Then I had a second interview at a remote location with two other people, who were also nice. They asked the usual stuff like 'Tell me about yourself,' 'Why are you the best fit?', and 'How do you deal with stress?'. I got a call the next day with a job offer.
