The process started with a hiring manager round, which was pretty basic. He was friendly, talked to me, walked me through the company background, his experience at the company, and the projects they are working on.

I had to do a take-home test first. They said I did a great job on it and moved me to the next step. Then I had to go in person. They had me do the same test again. When I interviewed with the manager, they told me the test results were really good and that I fit the role perfectly. They felt I was the one. However, they couldn't make the final decision because the ultimate decision-maker wasn't there. In the end, I didn't get the job.

Behavioral Technical Other

I interviewed for the Sales Supervisor role at One Park Financial. The interviewer seemed to not fully grasp the sales cycle and the roles of BDR/SDR teams, calling them 'operations.' This differed from my understanding. I didn't argue and let it go. Some questions felt irrelevant, like asking about my personal finances and spending. I was told my resume was too concise, focusing only on 3 roles. Another manager said they wanted a salesperson, not a leader, which confused me given the supervisor title. The role's requirements seemed unclear. The overall vibe wasn't great; security was strict, asking for my car's details, which felt invasive. The recruiter was professional and made the process smooth.

So the recruiter sent over an assessment first. Once I passed that, they sent me an invite for a 45-minute interview. The email had some instructions and tips: dress appropriately since you'll be talking to the Operations Manager, be on time (like 5 minutes early to test your setup), review your resume for potential questions, and make sure you're in a quiet spot with no interruptions.
