Tutor
The interview process was straightforward. The interviewer, who spoke eloquently about education, sought candidates with a similar background. They addressed all my questions about the role and the program's future outlook.
- Could you describe your educational background?
Resource Teacher
We had a Zoom interview where we talked about my experience. They asked me scenario questions and to describe myself as an educator, plus what sets me apart. I heard back in 1-2 days with a phone call offering me the job, followed by a welcome email asking for my credentials.
- Can you describe yourself as an educator?
- What makes you stand out from other candidates?
Tutor
It was a great and very friendly interview process. They genuinely seem interested in getting to know you and care about their students. It was nice to see their effort in finding tutors that can meet students' needs. It doesn't seem like they're just hiring to fill positions; there's intention in the process.
- How would you go about presenting a new lesson?
Program Coordinator
The interview process lasted about a week and consisted of three separate interviews. The first one was in person with the CEO, director, and assistant director of the company. The second interview was conducted over the phone with Human Resources. The third interview was also over the phone.
- In your own words, what are three terms that define professionalism?
