First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at One Call.
VP Product Management
It was a super simple process. First, a recruiter gave me a call for a screening, and it was pretty detailed. Then I spoke with a VP who asked me three behavioral questions about my past experiences, challenges, and how I dealt with them. I was surprised I didn't get a callback after that.
- Tell me about a challenge you faced.
- Describe how you handled feedback.
- What's an example of a situation you managed effectively?
QA Lead
It was a very straightforward, easygoing and friendly interview process. The questions were related and clear, all about QA processes. Hope this is helpful - I really can recommend you apply.
- Describe your understanding of QA processes.
- Tell me about your experience with various QA methodologies.
Care Coordinator
Applied online, got an assessment email the same day (Predictive Index). Finished it, then got another email within a couple of hours for a recruiter phone screening. Had to wait a week to pick a date. The recruiter call was easy, about 15 mins, covered the job, pay, and next steps. Asked 3 customer service questions. Moved on to a Customer Service Simulation assessment. Finished it Friday, got an email Monday about scheduling a virtual interview with the hiring manager. Interviewed via Teams the next day, pretty quick, discussed the role and asked more behavioral customer service questions. Got a job offer from the recruiter via email a few minutes after the interview. Whole thing took about 2 weeks.
- Tell me about a time you had to think on a large scale or alter a procedure.
- Can you share an instance where you delivered outstanding customer service?
- Describe a situation where you faced a strict deadline and had to juggle multiple tasks.
SQL Developer
I applied and then had a phone screen, followed by an in-person interview. The phone screen was good, covering typical SQL technical questions like triggers, joins, and cursors. The in-person interview involved HR and the department manager. They mostly talked about the department's financial performance and how they were fixing issues from previous developers. By the time they got to the technical questions, it was obvious it wasn't a good fit due to the on-call requirement, a low salary offer, and blame being placed on former employees. This made it a quick 'No' for me.
- Would you be available for on-call support?
- Can you define a trigger?
- Could you explain the concept of a join?
