Brand Strategy Head
This was hands-down the most thoughtful and encouraging interview process I’ve ever been through. From start to finish, it felt like the team really cared—not just about filling a role, but about making sure this was the right fit for me too. Every conversation felt intentional. I met with all the right people, had extra time with the hiring manager when I needed it, and felt completely supported the whole way through. The recruiter was amazing—super responsive, kind, and honestly felt like a true partner in the process. It never felt transactional. It felt human, fun, and genuinely exciting. I walked away from every interview more and more confident that this was a place where I’d be valued, supported, and able to thrive. They really thought of everything—and it made all the difference.
- Can you describe your ideal work environment and how we can support it?
Director
This interview process was incredibly long and frustrating, easily the worst impression I've ever had from a company. I interviewed with 7 different people across 9 separate meetings over three months. They seemed disorganized from the start, which I could tolerate, but the real issue was their indecisiveness in the final month. They promised updates on specific dates but repeatedly failed to deliver, offering random excuses. Ultimately, they called to say they weren't sure about the role's direction, wanted 'more' from the position (though 'more' was vague), and intended to restart the entire hiring process from scratch. While I respect their desire to find the perfect candidate, and they're likely searching for a unicorn, red flags were apparent throughout. Despite my bitterness about the lengthy and drawn-out process, it might have been for the best. Online reviews consistently mention poor leadership, and after my experience, I can definitely see the 'dysfunction,' even if I can't speak to 'toxicity.' Honestly, if you're interviewing with them, just ghost them.
- What motivates you to apply to this company?

So I got contacted by a recruiter who set up a call with the hiring manager. I talked to the hiring manager and then that was it. I never heard back from the company or the recruiter, even though I had already applied formally. They just ghosted me, no explanation.
- Can you describe your background?
- Please discuss your experiences from your previous role.

Recruiter reached out to schedule a recruiter call. I scheduled it for a week later. She cancelled the night before. I asked why she cancelled and she said she thought she was double booked and had done it mistakenly and asked me to reschedule. I rescheduled for the following week. The time of, she never called. I waited 20 minutes and cancelled myself. 5 days later I get an automated e-mail that they are moving along with different candidates. It’s a recruiters job to reach out if something comes up, i’m tired of ghosting culture in the recruiting process.
