So, OnceHub's interview was like a few steps. Started with some chats, then this big take-home thing, and after that, I talked with the CPO, a Senior PM, and the CEO. What was cool was they really cared about how I thought about product stuff with actual problems, not just random questions. The assignment was pretty well thought out and felt like we were checking if it was a good fit for both sides, not just them testing me. It took a bit longer than I thought, but honestly, it was a good experience and felt respectful.

Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

The hiring process was really long and frustrating, taking over a month to get an offer. There were more than 5 interview rounds. It felt like it could have been done in a week, but they only scheduled one round per week, maybe to look at more candidates. By the time I got the offer, I had already accepted another job.

Behavioral Technical Other

I applied for a Product Manager role at ScheduleOnce, aware of some negative reviews but hopeful. Unfortunately, the reviews seemed accurate. I was transitioning careers with no prior product management experience, which they knew from my CV. They ultimately rejected me for not being experienced enough after I invested time in preparation. A major issue was salary expectations: HR initially said my expectations were within range, but the Hiring Manager later called them 'ludicrous' and 'way off.' This inconsistency and lack of upfront clarity wasted my time, as I wouldn't have proceeded if I'd known my expectations were so far from their budget. The process involved irrelevant tests, including a stressful one requiring me to read and summarize a scientific paper on algorithms in an hour. The final interview round for the specific role was with a rude, rushed interviewer who cut me off during product tests, assuming I didn't know the answers. This interview was late at night, possibly due to limited slots, and the interviewer seemed eager to end the call. I had already decided to withdraw, and they later confirmed I wouldn't move forward. Based on this experience, I'm glad I didn't proceed with the company.
