After I applied online and filled out the employment info, I got an email explaining the next steps for the interview process. It took about a week to get the first interview. During that interview, they asked me about myself and what I bring to the table. They also asked if I was okay with the part-time hours and the client's location.

I applied online and a recruiter reached out about a week later for a phone screen. A few days after that, I spoke with the director of the department. The conversation seemed fine, and the job sounded interesting, but I had a feeling I wouldn't get it. The recruiter said they'd let me know either way. However, I never heard back, which I thought was pretty unprofessional.

The hiring manager reaches out first to see if you are a good fit before passing you to the Site manager for another phone interview. If they decide to move forward, they will schedule an in-person interview. After that, you will have a final call with the hiring manager to complete the hiring process. The interviews were conducted in a semi-casual dress code and were efficient and friendly. The site manager will also show you around the center. They have a very thorough interview process with many checks before making an offer. They will inform you about the hourly wage and the work schedule for each week. This role allows you to pursue education and work concurrently, and they are flexible with your schedule as long as you communicate your availability upfront.

The interview process included a phone interview, followed by two in-person interviews, after which I was hired. The initial phone interview was quite straightforward, covering basic questions about my background and experience. The interviewers I met were generally pleasant, open to answering my questions, and provided a helpful overview of On Lok's operations, giving me a sense of the organization.
