OMSI set up a phone screening with me first, after that I was invited to an in person interview. The in person interview was conducted by two supervisors and one other guest service representative.

The interview process was straightforward and organized. It began with an initial phone interview, where I was asked about my background, skills, and experiences. Following the phone interview, I was invited for an in-person panel review. During this panel interview, each member represented a different department within the company. They asked specific questions related to their respective areas of expertise. The questions were thorough and covered various aspects of the role and how I would fit into the team. Overall, the interview was comprehensive, giving me a clear understanding of the company's expectations and work environment.

It took about a week and a half to two weeks to hear back after submitting my resume. I went in for a panel interview with three of the event coordinators, which lasted about 30 minutes. They said they'd let me know their decision or if they had more questions within two weeks. Two weeks went by, so I emailed since I hadn't heard anything, but got no response. It seems like this is a common issue based on other reviews. It's unprofessional not to follow up with candidates. While I was interested in the job, I wouldn't want to work for a company that's so dismissive of people who want to contribute.

I sent in my resume and answered 7 questions about my experience leading teams, creating programs, and why I'm interested in the job. It took me a couple of hours to write the answers, which was definitely more effort than a cover letter. About 4 days after I sent my resume, they reached out. They told me about their hiring process. After an in-person panel interview that was all about diversity, equity, and inclusion, I never heard back from them. It's pretty unprofessional to ghost applicants.
